Day 1: Manaus, Capital of the Amazon
Reception at airport and transfer to the Hotel. Free day!

Day 2: The encounter of waters and transfer to Jungle Lodge
Departure 8am to the port where a speedboat will be used to take you to Vila do Careiro, where we will visit the Encounter of waters (where Black River Encounters with Rio Solimões forming a natural water barrier). From Careiro to Mamori, a ground transportation will be used and then another fluvial transport to reach our Jungle Lodge. Upon arrival we will serve lunch and after the lunch rest you will experience a jungle hike with a native guide. Time to observe birds and wildlife and have true contact with the Amazon forest. Afterwards you will try Piranha fishing! After fishing we will go canoeing through Igapós (flooded forest) and watch the sunset, then return to the Lodge where the dinner will be served. It's not over yet, for after dinner,let's board the canoes with the guides for alligator observation.

Day 3: Survival in the jungle, canooeing and wildlife
Departure at approximately 5h30am with a canoe ride to observe nature in the morning (sunrise and birds) then return to the hotel to have breakfast. After breakfast, take a walk with the Guide for observation and explanation of some medicinal plants and technique of survival in the jungle and look for some wildlife like the big Caranguejeira spiders, several monkey species and the famous sloth Bicho Preguiça. Return to hotel around noon where lunch will be served. After lunch we set off with a guide to go kayaking through the Igapós (flooded forest) during the flood season and lakes in another region to observe landscapes and go out looking for snakes then return for dinner. After dinner the guide will show the Jagaia fishing technique (sort of bow and arrow) and return to the hotel.

Optional: After lunch you can alternatively choose to make the afternoon hike in more dense forest with the guide, and sleep in the jungle in improvised hammocks (survival technique). In this option you would not return to the hotel, but overnight in the jungle and return to the hotel the next morning with the guide.

Day 4: Indigenous people and culture  
After breakfast, it's time to go out to visit the home of the Caboclos and a little of their way of life. Visit the house of flour and the process of how the Caboclos make their flour. Return approximately at noon to lunch and prepare the luggage to return to Manaus (arrival at approximately 4pm).
